Ryan Van Wagenen is heading back to London at Citi in their Investment Banking division. He will continue to advise corporate clients in the Industrials sector with his focus being on mergers & acquisitions. He will cover companies that are headquartered in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Ryan Van Wagenen previously worked at Citi for 5+ years in their Investment Banking division in New York, London, and Houston. He started in 2010 based in New York and was in the global industrial group. Within Industrials, Ryan spent most his time working in the transportation sector. He loved this experience of living and working in New York City. From 2012-2013, Ryan spend a year in the London office within the EMEA Investment Banking group. He continued to work with transportation companies. After a year back in New York, Ryan was given an opportunity to work with the global energy group based in Houston, Texas. Many of the largest deals in the firm were coming out of Citi’s energy group in Houston, so this provided some good transactional experience. Ryan covered energy companies within the oil field services, upstream, midstream and the downstream sectors. Over 5+ years at Citi, he advised over 20 corporate energy and industrials clients on ~$7 billion of M&A and ~$10 billion of capital market transactions.
